Saw that on Youtube yesterday, and he had plenty left lock on, but it simply went straight on.

Its called understeer, too much speed for the amount of grip available to the front tyres and no amount of lock will make it turn.

That Alfieri just looks even more awesome every time I see it. I refuse to believe it will be under 100k, otherwise I'll just get my hopes up to have them cruelly dashed.

Some great shots there Adam. The interior of the Pagani just makes me smile whenever I see it.

If anyone wants hi-res images just shout.

The gear-lever and mechanism on the Pagani was beautiful:

Apparently it will be Ghibli money.

Like all new Maseratis I reckon they will bring out the base option with the lower or lowest BHP first at just below 70k then a few months later will offer the 450 bhp version at 85k and then after about a year and a bit will introduce at the Paris or Geneva show the Alfieri Gransport or whatever they will call the 500 + bhp version and that will IMO be well over the 100k.

I was soooooo lucky to win a prize at the GRRC Summer Ball held on the Thursday night. I chose a ride in a Patrick Head designed MG Metro 6R4, driven by Stuart Larbey. The speed at which his feet/hands worked was mind boggling. I was in awe. He seemed rather disappointed that he hadn't managed to scare me hahaha. Only problem is, I now want to go to rally school. Do Maserati make a rally car??????? haha

Good choice, Blondie. What a superb experience. Once in a lifetime, surely. Pray tell, though, for what did you win? Surely not the Most Under-Stated Car..?
