It will be interesting to see how historically accurate this is. Now, I love Lancias, but having gone through the results, the stories… it’s more a case of Audi losing the championship than Lancia winning it, per se. I’m sure that will get me excommunicated from the world of Italian car fans, but the Audi team was beset with poor reliability - that’s not too controversial. What is perhaps more controversial is the way in which mistakes were made by service crews, some of which could have ended up far more horrifically than they actually did.
As I say, it’s often painted as an epic Lancia win but It’s not quite the case, even taking the maxim ‘to finish first you must finish’ into account.

Certainly be worth a watch and as always film makers will take their own spin on the story, "inspired by true events", but what the heck another movie about cars what's not to look forward too :)
