Electrical problem with the gearbox...Doris keeps blowing a gearbox fuse and won't change gears or let the engine start when it has. Marios and team are investigating the cause...hopefully not going to break the bank or need a second mortgage.

Craig (I think) has shown that when the F1 pump motor starts to fail, it draws excessive current :( Is it that fuse?

Let's hope it's not the F1 pump, if it is, find one at a scrapper mate, there are a few knocking around..!!

The pump was replaced a few months ago by Autoshield, so should be fine. Should be.

I guess I may have thrown up a stone when I was at Llandow, damaging something underneath...but I wasn't really over-exerting things and didn't end up off track. I'm sure Marios and the guys will work it out.

I heard from Marios, it's not the pump and doesn't seem to be mechanical - he thinks it's electrical and will dig further tomorrow. Managed to drive it for 10 minutes and it just went again apparently...Doris needs her own tow-truck shadowing her, or a boot full of fuses for each journey!

Sounds like I may have done some suspension damage on Friday too apparently, knocking on the front n/s.

Clunk-clunk every trip. Ha!

Oh dear Chris. Doesn't sound great. Were any error codes stored that might point to the culprit(s)?

Have a brain these cars....could be alright in a week maybe?

Throw a tantrum and then forget why they did that

Wheel nuts lose Chris, seems some suffer from this on tracks...

Oh, yes...done that before. The only tool I own that's good for working on the car is a torque wrench and a 22mm socket to tighten them. Learned that one last time out at Snetterton when the rear bolts were hand-loose after 18 straight laps. That's also when my washer bottle boiled over.
