See him on AO....He may need a push to come on track......He is coming to watch though so I'm sure when we see him he'll want to have a go...

he wont need much pushing hun, he wants to do the track but he is waiting to get the 156 back as its having some bodywork done and he should have had it back moonday, hopefully he will have it back tonight...

Thats a brave man that has bodywork done before a track day, Jinx!!!

he is a bit silly but his bella is awesum, some builders got cement on the paintwork, so they are paying to get her sorted so he had no choice really, just hope he gets her back in time, else he will be driving a fiesta and when you see the size of him you will wonder how he got in it....hes a lovely bloke and his wife too

Well I am now getting concerned..........Car still not back...........Disc's looks and feel brilliant.....new air mass flow sensor fitted and the red dot pads feel great......£567 lighter............But the electrical issues is still a problem...........Stuart at Forza was going to let me have the car back tonight because of the track day as I needed to get her back to clean her tomorrow...Problem is I would ahve had to disconnect the battery when turned off as the alarm has a mind of its own and turning the lights on when turned off and running the battery down......They thought they had cracked it and all was working then over the night the lights came on again and back to square one........

Its the Meta alarm which is a son of a ***** to get into...TVR used them as well and they are just a pain in the bum.....So number of options.......New alarm, new Meta control box (a no no as they want aorund £500 and a new alarm is around £250) or tomorrow Stuart is going to back up the alarm tomorrow...(what ever that means)......Currently the alarm speaks to the imobiliser so if you just and by pass the alarm it will just enable the engine......So Stu is going to go in early in the morning to get her sorted before Thursday......He thinks it should take around 3 hours......So fingers crossed.....

Cheers Dave....

Stuart at the garage has been very good and tried to get the car in a state so I do not miss the track day but the idea of having to disconnect the battery everytime I came off track was a pain in the bum so its better he has the car tomorrow to put it right once and full all...

Sounds a right pain in the proverbial that Andy, might be worth just getting a new reliable system on, one that works.

Was thinking that Rob...Will see how they get on today...Thought the Meta was added to her by the last owner but apparently it was a dealer option from new.......The garage I are also TVR specailists and have no end of trouble with the Meta on TVR's as it was a factory fit....Difference is that on a TVR its two connections that are easyto get to...These connections talk to each other so when one goes you just replace...On an Alfa they are not easy to get to as its all over the place.........Italians and electrics....Never a happy bed fellow....

Today is the day I would give the car a good clean, wax, etc so this will be the first Llandow I will have a dirty car.....but think I would prefer one that works tomorrow.

YESSSSSSSSS.....All fixed...Went down this morning to take two used tyres to put on the front and Stuart went in at 6 to sort her out...Found a way to stop the alarm talking to the light.....He's a star....

Sadly not. I was away in Poland all last week and Scotland for a big chunk of this. Bit of pressure therefore to be around at home today....

I will be at Magor for 8am

Looking forward to meeting up !

Great news that you are all fixed and ready to go.

Fella, has someone got a decent camera for some pics? Sounds like there's going to be plenty of Italian metal on show!
