I'm easy, if I dont do the twistys going will do them on the way home, I did assume we would sort of break into small groups , and possibly all meet up again overnight?

Probably need to split as well though, Roger, or we'll spend all our time waiting for each other to fill up.

The plan is to have a different hotel for the Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed and suggest various routes then leave you to it.

If groups want to form then fine.

As long as we all make it to each hotel, that will work well and everyone is free to drive at their own pace.

I am planning to take the twistys on the way down then a direct route home.

Is there a concensus on the departure date from UK? I think a number are heading down from Goodwood on Sunday, is that right?

Yes Adam. We are talking to Goodwood to try and get on the track and have a bit of press.

Sunday, Dover, then Mon, Tues and Wed stay enroute.

This also has the benefit that members can leave on different days and just drive hard and catch up.

My vote would be for a common departure, possibly Goodwood, for the ferry, then choose your route for a common hotel meet up for night stops.

Sounds like an eminently sensible scheme.

OK. Still not sure where I'll leave from, or when - could be UK early in the week or Netherlands on Weds. I'll catch up with you all somewhere, somehow. Perhaps via Germany if I need to get a move on.

I like the idea of leaving from Goodwood on the Sunday & taking in the twisty bits on the way down & the direct route on the way back.

I've booked two weeks off regardless so happy to go with the flow.

Any news on the routes Frank, would like to start looking at hotel stops etc

I have produced various routes and will get them loaded on as google links. Im not sure if everyone wants to do the Swiss / Italian Passes, but ive included the ones I think are the better ones and are on route. I am trying to get it reasonably direct.

Just finishing them of and will get together with Newton and then get them on.

If anyone has a particular suggestion or don't want to do some twistys let me know.

I vote to do the passes then a direct route home. Have to be in Oz for a wedding a few days later. Looking forward to it (Modena that is, not the flight :saifi3:)
