Well that's now three Italians to keep us out of mischief!

Mrs Tee's new ride...

To say she's chuffed would be a serious understatement. The callipers are already being painted red (to match the red leather interior) and she's surfing for private reg' plates. Who'da thunk - Mrs Tee, a burgeoning petrol-head! She's even lurking on the Alfa forums! :D :D

Hi Dave, Yes I thought of you when we got it. :D. It's the 1.4 TB Multi-air 6-speed manual Veloce specification.

its a shame really that nowadays on alfas the best engines tend to be diesels.....and these multi airs....

no more V6s or any petrols as they are slow and thirsty.....

saying that the diesel alfas for me still have some soul compared to other makes.....

diesels and multi airs are good buys...im not just saying that its just the multi air that alfa use is same with fiat and its a lovely engine but such a shame the petrols of old are rubbish....whats the hottest alfa?? no one knows or no one cares, its some cloverleaf badged but no quicker than a diesel......

I guess to be fair to Alfa they're in a real transitionary phase building from a completely clean slate. The Giulietta and Mito are everyday cars, not drivers cars, but they're well designed, do their jobs very well, have a bit of Italian flair, compete well on price and spec' and so have sold very well. It's a good (if small) platform to start from in combination with a sales and service network that can finally hold it's head up besides the big boys. Now it needs to build on the success with the Giulietta Cloverleaf and upcoming Giulia, Spyder and 4C. Time will tell on the SUV and the 300C based Exec, as one is breaking new ground and the other is raking over old ground that was never fertile for Alfa, but get the others right and they'll be doing very well. Fingers crossed....................
