You lot reckon buyers are planning on flipping these or selling their build slots? Be a shame. And, is there money to be made doing that, I wonder?

At £76k it is cheaper than the Evora 410 was. That is impressive given how much everything else has increased by latey. I hope it is a roaring success for them.

Looking at the order book I think it is all ready. Great to see..

The Emira, no matter what they claim, is a rebodied Evora.

And what a pretty rebody it is……I probably think if you want a car different to the Evora the 4 pot AMG is the one instead of the V6……Think that is the one I would have…

I’ve just got back from my local Lotus dealer after accepting the invite to look at the Emira.
First impressions are that it’s a good looking car in the flesh. Even though it’s only a per-production prototype.

Sadly the seats were fixed so I couldn’t position them to my perfect driving position but was told that the seat would drop a couple of cms so getting a decent position shouldn’t be a problem.

So that’s about it. My only issue with the car is that for 75k, I wasn’t wowed one bit. Yes it’s nice. But nice doesn’t sell cars. (Not to me anyway). There was no sense of occasion about it.
Joseph said he didn’t like it and that I should buy a Maserati instead. I think he might be right.

To be honest quite taken by the Alpine A110 as a two seater rear engined sports car, and save 20 grand.
Fast enough for anyone and more unique in my opinion.
