Ok I'll start with a couple of options

North Wales somewhere that includes going through the tunnels at Conwy

Buxton

Shrewsbury

There we go a couple of random places to consider.....

Buxton is middle ground between east and west.

How about meet up near Chester (maybe Cheshire Oates Outlet) then drive through Ruthin to the Evo triangle, heading back on the A55 through the Conway tunnels.
We could end the day with a blast through the mersey tunnels.

I did this route with Benny and Lee a couple of years ago, it was epic !

That sounds good to me. I hope those with furthest to come realise what a great run out this is, it really is worth the mileage. Any thoughts guys?

My 5000th post. Another small milestone on the path of life!

Hi Benny/James

Well of course that gets my vote.

Maybe go via Llangollen and over the Horse Shoe Pass first and stop here for a coffee http://www.ponderosacafe.co.uk/
Before a spin out to the Evo Triangle, back onto the A55 and the Conway Tunnels.

Just hope it is not too soon, as I still have my leg in plaster and even when it is taken off I have a lot of physio to get my ligaments working again :-( before I can press my clutch pedal!

Looking forward to this as some great roads in that area

Cheers

Lee

If you're thinking sooner rather than later go ahead without me boys, I have something on every Sunday in March. If it's April, pretty sure I'll be with you but don't work round me, there'll always be someone who can't make it whenever it's arranged.

No worries mate. We'll go with the majority, but will try and accommodate as many as possible.

Lee, how long will you need to get fit?

Hi Benny

Will probably be mid April onwards before I am back driving, but totally understand if other folk can only go earlier.

Fingers crossed it works time wise for me, as I am, desperate to get the car back out of the garage.

How is everyone fixed for April? Also, are we going for an evening run or a Sunday day out? Any thoughts?

Hoping April will be OK for me, I get my cast off this Thursday and then it's physio time, so will let you guys know if I can make it once I see how the leg is fixing in the next week or so.

I could do evening or weekends leg dependant

Sounds good. I was thinking a Sunday might make it more worthwhile for those guys coming from a distance. A reasonably early meet, drive out, lunch and drive back. Throw in a couple of tunnels and job jobbed. However, I'm up for an evening drive too if that's what the majority want.

I'm up for both for anyone more local, could have an evening one
and a Sunday for those coming from further afield :)
