I would be up for representing the West Mids, but may have to be a last minute yes or no depending where I am the week after, but day/evening is fine for me. Ive not been out in the car since the xmas bash!

Ok, how about we go for a Sunday jaunt towards the end of April with a (possibly) short notice, weather dependent evening run sometime before?

Sundays in April are good for me.
As for evening drive, maybe May onwards with longer daylight hours?

Hi guys, it's about time we thought about getting this one on the road. Now i'm back at work and into the summer season, things are getting hectic for me and for you guys as well, I'm sure. How about Thursday 02 May for an evening run or Sunday 05 May for a weekend run? For the evening run we could meet anywhere in the Manchester area at around about 7pm for a run out to a pub anywhere in the Manchester area. For the Sunday run, meet at the Lymm truck stop at about 8am for a blast over to, and around, the Evo triangle getting back mid-late afternoon. Thoughts? We go with the views of the majority.

Hi BennyD

My physio says I'm not allowed to press a clutch pedal for another 4 to 6 weeks :-(
So it will be end of May till I can join in!

Which reminds me Marios I need to get my car upto you the end of April for a service etc

Cheers

Lee

Lee, get yourself a 4200 CC, that way you don't need a clutch pedal! BTW, I was only floating those dates as an idea just to get the ball rolling. Does anybody else have any ideas re a suitable date?

Thanks Benny but I could not drive around knowing those Honda rear lights where behind me ;-) clutch or no clutch pedal

There is a slight possibility my physio may let me drive the car 5th May for a Northern Drive out, although I will have to be a last minute addition.

Ok guys, it's looking like the 5th May. Is everyone ok for meeting at Lymm truck stop and heading off over towards the Evo triangle? This will of course be weather dependant; I don't see the fun in splashing around welsh back roads trying to avoid sheep and stone walls in the p!ssing rain.

Agree Mr D ....I am working on cashing in some chips and hopefully will join you possibly somewhere on the A55 once home arrangements are sorted. Keep me posted....don't like wet stuff either so v weather dependant.

Sounds good to me. Agreed about the weather --- the only way i stand a chance of keeping up with Ian will be if the tarmac is bone dry !

so the meet up north will be at a truck stop??

That's the plan mate. Don't forget the Ace cafe was originally a transport caff, it's just this one is newer and is convenient for the good roads around Wales.
