What's the story with the white one ?
I spy an Audi 100 too.

The white one belonged to a friend of one of the lads who lived across the road, they were always fixing up old cars (helped me out no end too), if memory serves the clutch had gone on the white Mini just round the corner and they were bringing it home to fix it. The two eldest brothers were massive US car fans and were always bringing home Mustangs, Camaros and '50s stuff with fins and tons of chrome.

One of my other Minis, now gone, a Japanese spec 1275 with air con and god awful autobox....

That would be good... Bit like this one

Mine was the same spec as the orange one on that site. Burnt Orange, I think.
Bought it in the dark and couldn't believe the amount of smoke from the exhaust in the daylight. Ended up bored to 1293cc, ported head, water heated inlet manifold, LCB exhsust, a little flying machine. At these prices, I should have kept it.

Have any of you seen this iconic Kiwi movie it's a corker.
I loved it!

I saw it in NZ when it came out and it was a massive hit over there. It was great seeing all of the locations throughout the country where I'd driven before.

Fantastic film, but not sure if it has dated. Will have to check it out!

First saw the film when living in NZ and ended up buying 3 Minis.
Did the Pork Pie Charity Run in 2017 and none of those scenes in the film had changed at all :)
The Scrapyard especially and that was fun driving through it.
It was so much Fun driving the whole of NZ we did it again in 18 but in the Range Rover.

Another iconic Kiwi movie is Smash Palace also from 1981.
Another great Kiwi film. Interestingly, Smash Palace, Goodbye Pork Pie and Hunt for the Wilderpeople all featured the same breaker's yard in Horopito near Mt Ruapehu. It is massive and really is in the middle of nowhere.

Was pretty much on our doorstep when living in Wanganui loved the place.
Just need to find the French equivalent now.
