A guy I know stopped off there on a cruise, they saw about 20 people crowding round a car , thinking it was somebody famous they went to have a look, just as some old guy came out of a shop to find a crowd round his MK 2 escort 
There's a programme on netflix about Monaco , I had to turn it off before I started throwing stuff at the TV, what a bunch of self centered assholes
David Coulthard was walking around with a microphone and a TV camera following him, he smiled at a girl in her 20s who totally blanked him
"well she was not impressed with me , I've been out of an F1 car too long"
Summed the place up perfectly , if he'd been in a racing suit carrying a cup she'd have been all over him wanting his babies

Seems like they're harvesting cotton, never seen combines like those before. Looks a bit other-worldly in the dark.

Not often I disagree with you Benny but I think it was a fair effort for the time. Given there were not many mid-engines road cars to go on back then. True it isn’t e-type beautiful.

I still can’t see it. The back is a cross between a van and a blind cobblers thumb, the odd shape of the front door with that curious downward bow in the top frame and the way the car slopes from the windscreen, which looks too big for the car, down towards the back but looks very heavy in the middle. The little back window looks odd from the back as well. I am a big fan of the Lotuses from that period but not the Europa. Awkward and ugly is the nicest I can honestly be about it.

Europa was always too kit car for my liking, considering the original Elite & Elan came before it both of which are great looking cars and the 2nd gen Elite, Eclat & Esprit came after it once again stylish and modern for the era

Had a great drive in the Spyder today, interesting too. On the way to my son's home we saw a Bede BD5 airplane on a trailer. Shades of Octopussy. Couldn't get to my phone to get a pic.
Catman must be right, it's St. Bins day today in town, and the Chariot of Stench was spreading the foul funk in it's wake. Had to pull over and wait lest the Maser become the Spyder of Stench. Can't get that out of a convertible top.
