It wasn't me although I was a Police Cadet in 79/80.Who stole the copper’s gloves?
The electronic flight deck on modern airliners can be a bit bewildering at times; there are so many ways to get the info you want you can almost get ’lost’ in which way is best. Boeing have been under the cosh from Airbus for years and it would appear they are losing the plot. I’ve said from the word go that the 737Max won’t be cleared for service in it’s current guise; they will have to change the architecture and the name at the very least. Fortunately I never flew one, I was Airbus only.
Late last year I saw pictures of a load of 737 MAX aircraft that had already been purchased by Ryan air and all in storage somewhere. On the request of Ryan air the livery/insignia had all been modified to remove any trace of the ‘ MAX’ word. The electronic flight deck on modern airliners can be a bit bewildering at times; there are so many ways to get the info you want you can almost get ’lost’ in which way is best. I was catching a train to Preston from warrington a few years ago , me and one other guy on the platform, on the other side over about 20 minutes 30-40 men started gathering on the platform setting up cameras and video camerasIt was 20 years ago, which is a scary thought, I’ll turn into one of those BR geeks soon. Must go get a pair of trousers that are 3 inches too short so I fit in.
That Fizzi in the middle is exactly like my old one - the memories came flooding back ...... screaming down the dual carriageway, head down, feet up in the rack at the back - sure I got to 60mph but it was most likely 40mphMany of us will have memories of Sports Mopeds when we were 16 and the freedom they gave us thinking we were real bikers too

I was thinking steam train , this huge goods train pulled in , seemed to be mostly tesco wagons , turned out they guy stood next to me was the next driver
It pulled away , took ages for it to clear the platform
I'm looking up the track waiting for chuff chuff chuff, turn to see if any more spectators have turned up and they' ve all gone
What a strange bunch
Oh no it's done over 50,000 and got Pirelli tyres.Bit like Maserati owners. “Is that grigio maratea or grigio granito?” It’s clucking grey!
I was lucky enough to see the SR 71 fly in the 80s , now that made some noise
Interesting story about it
The SR-71 Blackbird's Most Spectacular Flyover Was Also Its Slowest
One of the most legendary stories related to the SR-71 Blackbird has nothing to do with how fast or how high it could fly. Quite the opposite really, it has to do with how slow and low it flew, somewhat accidentally, the results of which was probably one of the most spectacular visual and...foxtrotalpha.jalopnik.com

That brings back some memories! I had a FS1E in that colour too (1975 model I think - no disc brake). only 1 of our crowd had an SS50, not cool! What is the moped in the foreground? I always wanted one of those Italian mopeds 8.5 bhp (Testi) but in the days before the internet we had to scour the classifieds in MCN and they never came up before I was 17 and upgrade to a rocketship; RD200 with Micron expansion chambers!!Many of us will have memories of Sports Mopeds when we were 16 and the freedom they gave us thinking we were real bikers too

Likewise, I had a FS1E but mine was a purple 1974 model. Most of my mates had them but a couple had Gilera’s. Great fun and seemed fast at the time. That brings back some memories!
