I have a friend who had 2 QP’s (consecutively) as daily drivers. Bought one with 60k on the clock and took it to 120k without much hassle. Now has a Ghibli, so it’s certainly possible.

I feel you…I had a bit of an argument about getting another car today….but if I do get it..hopefully the bite isn’t as bad as the bark

I used my 2007 GT Exec as a daily for 7 years. In that time I had a new AC, new plugs and of course variators in different years thankfully. petrol obviously cheaper then
But I would recommend it just for the sheer joy it gave me and the admiring glances at the car made me feel good

Definitely. I did for 11 years, with 4 different versions of the QP V across that time.

I used my 1st QPV as a daily for about 12 months but it was only 4 years old and had covered 14k miles, so close to new in condition. No issue at all but the youngest is now 10 years old so likely to have more issues. I personally prefer something practical and effortless for every day use (currently TDV8 RR, previously V8 7 series, S Class Mercs) and treasure the 5k pa miles I do in the fun cars.

That is rather lovely…but why do they say rare right hand drive ? A QP is rare by other standards but all for sale are RHD in the UK on AT…Could be because we are in the UK maybe….

Yes absolutely. Have had a QPV as a daily driver for years. Very reliable. All you need to do is give Shell £100 per week, and SportsItalia £5,000 per year.

I wonder if they mean that "pre-facelift model with the ZF" is relatively rare, and the bullet-point writer got carried away.

That's exactly what a QPV is for (apart from waiting 5 minutes for the demisting to work )

Absolutely. I see no problem with using a QP as a daily. Obviously it'll not be the cheapest car to run as a daily, but on the other hand, the purchase price is ludicrously low, so that helps.
