OK Guys;

I will need £210 per couple by the end of July 2010. This will pay for your room for both nights and the 60% deposit for the casino meal [including wine].

Refunds can only be given up to the 15 Aug, after this I will do my best to get a refund for you but cant assure you will get 100% back.

I will PM you all with details of how to send the funds this weekend.

We have not got enough for a group booking [Needs min 15 for the chunnel] What we did last time is book on the same crossing but listed the vehicles a 'High' Car with roof box. That way we all ended up at the same lane and were loaded onto the coach decks with lots more clearance than the two story carragies.

Weekend details will list a suggested depart times and there will be plenty of time to book our crossings.

Met up with a new member last night Peter , and mentioned this trip to him , i think he'll be well up for it , he's busy working his way around how the forum works at the minute

Ok, just spoke to Rachel, we are confirmed.

We are going to need to stay at a cheapy hotel near Dover for the Thursday night as there is no way we can get to Dover for 8.45 Premier Inn is £50 for the room, 3 miles away, Travelodge, 18 miles away in Ashford, £30.

Anyone else going to do the same.

I have stayed at the Chequers Inn, Smarden a few times. Lovely place...previous owner Charlie has a Ferrari 355 few years back...he moved to the Castle Inn, Castle Combe...seems we follow each other on re locations.

Pete, my mate David (and Sally) has he contacted you about the trip, as I see his is confirmed.....he has not to me and said he would confirm to me a week ago to which he has not as yet....which means he is probably not coming?

Nothing so far from Dave and Sally, but no mad rush yet...if all do confirm we may be able to charter our own carriges [15 needed]!

I know we will have some no shows, even had one drop out on the day last year...we waited for 15 mins but have not heared from hin for a year now!!

OK all, only 205 days till Christmas...and even less till the end of the month when I have to pay for the hotel. Only 4 paid up thus far...so come on you tight wads....or this will be more exclusive that I planned.

what happens if i come but the car givese trouble? i bought the car to do these trips and enjoy with you people but i aint confident, could go at any time in another country, thats my main reason for delaying my answer
