A lot of you have considerable knowledge on the subject and I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself on techy posts! I think that’s why most people keep quiet in those
Most of the technical advise on here is no more complicated than disconnecting and reconnecting the battery or perhaps replacing the battery ........ just be the first to post that, and you will sound as knowledgeable as most of us ;)

....I’ll carry on, because I’ve read the entire thread and it took blimmin ages.
I also have a working background in what used to be a male dominated industry (Chartered Surveying). I had to deal with all sorts of bad behaviour in the workplace which, thankfully, doesn’t happen now. Senior partner of top 3 accountancy practice dry-h#*ping my leg etc etc. Plus other stuff!

I have no problem with pictures of ladies with their tits oot - the joke is on you, boys. But, having pictures of lascivious tarts on SM promotional photos is a bit naff, in my view. If I want to post a picture of David Gandy in his swimming trunks, that’s ok! But I wouldn’t want him on a sticker on my Italian sports car. Oh, hang on, maybe I would?

I’m pretty rubbish at the technical stuff, but very happy to read and learn more, whilst lurking. A lot of you have considerable knowledge on the subject and I wouldn’t want to embarrass myself on techy posts! I think that’s why most people keep quiet in those ones.

As for really contentious subjects, I can’t be bothered to get involved in them. I admire people who are genuinely passionate about a topic. If someone was being abusive, surely everyone will just think they’re a ****? Everyone I’ve met through the forum appears to be intelligent and articulate and can make up their own minds. If someone persists at being insulting, can’t they be blocked after a warning? I expect you chaps (!) already do that.

One other thing, if someone new does post a comment, it would be nice if the regulars could comment back, just so they feel a bit more welcome. I see it a bit like being at a party when you don’t know anyone and you say something and get blank looks!

I think that’s enough of my waffle.
I think it's called being a bit "Cliquey" it is to an extent , you just need to wade right in there :D which I have to an extent usually after several sherberts, but I can see why any new folk would be put off joining in, depends on the individual personality I suppose.

Thank you young lady for your value input. Knowing you personally I respect your honest appraisal, thank you.
Old women who express honestly should not be offended by this post. You would have been thanked too even if you weren’t personally known to the OP.

Bugger....when I say “express” obviously old women wouldn’t be able to physically do this (I wouldn’t have thought), whereas a young women with recent offspring would...more easily I would have thought.

Phew.

Google helped me out here, basically a man born as a man, who is a man and identifies as a man.

What a load of boll....

Hang on I’ll leave it there, otherwise I might get a ban.
But in my defence. I’m only aware of two genders.
And if anyone is offended I reserve my right to be a identified as a bloke who only recognises two genders.

I was going to put my comments on the thread from a female perspective about SM posts - but it looks like the topic has changed now!
Can I interest you in a pair of these. It’s a little business I’ve started up after identifying a HUGE gap in the personal protection market

Pm me for prices and shipping,

You’d better be quick as my Chinese advertising campaign starts tomorrow.

I’m perfectly happy with my P-zeros....I don’t understand what all the fuss on the forum is about! I was discussing this with Blondie in the Ritz on Thursday.

I used to have them on my Subaru and didn’t think they were that bad either but a lot of people seem to reckon they get a bit slippy when it’s cold.

PS. Only a SportsMaserati forum member would be sitting in the Ritz talking about tyres.

Got them on my XF and they work well here in Europe but I don't want to start another drift as you lot are out now.

I don’t go into race mode until they warm up a bit!

Ha, I’ve just worked out what NSFW means haha. I would have called it ‘Secret Boys Business. Enter at your own peril’.

I’ve been asked by Matt to contribute to this thread from the female perspective. Having thought about it, I find that rather funny. Why should my gender matter? Do I find the pics of girls offensive? No. Besides, there is nothing stopping me from posting a few pics of David Gandy (in his 300SL of course!!)

I haven’t posted on the forum for quite a while but I do log on occasionally when I want a laugh. And if a member wants to post something that they believe may be offensive to some, they or the moderators can put it into the ‘Secret Boys Business’ section.

Just one request? Ban all discussions about cats???
