As you will see from the date, this is being offered as a replacement to the sadly cancelled RAF Brize Norton gathering.

The venue is still to be confirmed, but it will be in the same area as RAF Brize Norton so that those that had signed up to that event are traveling a similar distance as they'd expected.

My initial suggestion is to meet at an early but sensible time in the morning somewhere we can make our acquaintances and grab a late breakfast.

Given that neck of the woods has some lovely scenery and roads, we could organise a drive over a pre-planned route for a couple of hours. We could turn the drive into something a little more interesting with either timed stages and / or observational tests.

That could lead us to our luncheon reservation, perhaps at a nice country house hotel where we can then arrange for some nice backdrops for photographs.

Just my thoughts and all needs to be planned, but also open to suggestions.

Those showing an interest so far.......

I'm afraid I'll have to duck out of this as I have a 'do' to go to the night before and knowing my boss, it's going to get messy! So best I don''t drive the next day....

Sadly I too will have to excuse myself from this, as my diary is just too chaotic at the moment.

I was going to tie this in with the Moto GP at Silverstone - with an overnight stop somewhere between Oxford and Silverstone - not too far away from each other, I dont know either area so any ideas on a meeting point?

Hi RSM, Sorry, I had hoped to organise this for everyone, but with everything else that's been going on it's proved to be the one that got away. I hope someone else can step up and arrange the meeting?

I know that Benny can't now make this event, so this is the list of interested parties.....

1. Easyplan66.
2. SpyderNick.
3. philw696.
4. Granturismo_Dan.
5. Petronic.
6. Marc777
