Good morning!

Loz has invited me onto the forum to let you know about the events we have to offer at Daytona Milton Keynes, with a view to holding your tenth meet there!

I'm pleased to say that the 10th December is available and there are no other bookings in just yet, so there are no limitations on timeslots.

For a group of around 15-30 people, I would recommend either the Daytona 40 or the Daytona Grand Prix individual races.

Daytona 40
A fast paced mini endurance race consisting of a 5 minute practice and a 40 minute race. Trophies for the top 3 drivers and lap time print outs for all!
Price: £1600.00 for up to 20 drivers and £70 per person thereafter.

Daytona Grand Prix
A fantastic exclusive race format with a practice, qualifying heats and a grand final. Perfect for groups of mixed abilities and less experienced racers.

5 minute practice
3 x 8 minute heats
10 minute final

Price = £1,600 for 20 drivers inc VAT
Additional Drivers (max 15) £75 each inc VAT.

These prices include all necessary Race Gear, Exclusive track use and Podium Trophy Photo Presentation.

We can do bespoke events and tailor the timings to suit your requirements, so if there is anything you would like a price on, just ask!

I hope this Helps,

From experience, the maximum you want to be in a kart is 15mins in one go after that it gets very tiring.

I think its best if everyone gets the same amount of track time too, maybe with a final at the end. I suspect we can have a custom thing if we would want it.

Glad to hear that the noise of my car pleased the masses.... I'm still yet to hear one from the outside properly (Cue offers of driving my car past me...)

As for Karting, I'd say the Grand Prix format would be best.
As Matt says, more than 15 mins in a kart is surprisingly tiring.

Next time we meet Dan , i will do you the big favour of taking on the task in hand , in actual fact i did the same with my 4200 with the tubi's last night , in 4 years i'd never had the oppurtunity of hearing what it really sounded like , so like the true gent i am , ( and like the idiiot i am ) duly handed the keys over to Uncle Urby and let him do the honours , my arrrrse was squeezing tighter than any duck i can assure you , he did ok tho bless him

That was very funny....standing next to Loz who was quivering with fear whilst Urby reverse parked the 4200. Manoeuvring about 2 feet from the kerb Loz can't take it any more and shouts "THAT'S ENOUGH!!"

So Loz, how do the Tubis sound when they are being 'grey-lined' by Urby at 1500 RPM?

I wish I had not shot of so fast last night now. I had a great run sat at a tonne most of the way till I hit Guildford where there was a massive crash and spent an hour crawling.

Got in the door at midnight in the end.

sounds like a bad accident matt hope they were alright....

TBH I don't think anyone got out of that one I am afraid.

It was a small French type car, on it's roof in 2 pieces in the outside lane of the motorway.

Tough when you encounter fatals on any journey, witnessing them is worse but thankfully to date I have not actually been involved in one directly!

I'd have taken photos yesterday but for the smashed phone! Doh!!!

Great to see you guys and sorry I had to get away before eating! (I'm sure Urby ate mine anyway by the sounds of it) and I had a good run down to Wales today...
