Adam

I live near Brooklands so I think I may head down there on Sunday. I think the free entry offer expired in June, but the entry prices look pretty reasonable if it lives up to expectations and there are plenty of interesting cars on show.

If anyone's going let me know and I'll look out for you.

Hi Saltire, Mrs N has now "helpfully" filled our social calendar for the weekend - I should have blocked out this date before she did! Shame, I was looking forward to it but the Dunsfold weekend last month leaves a lot for other car-based events to live up to.

I popped along yesterday, and I'm glad I did. There was a reasonable Maserati turnout - 4 QPs and a couple of GTs when I was there. There were probably 30 Ferraris, 8 Lambos, 3 Maclarens and a smattering of Astons and interesting others including a GT40, and a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing.

The most amazing for me was a Maserati MC12 (?) which looked like a roadgoing version of a Le Mans sportscar. Anyone know anything about it?

Does Nick Mason still have his? He's also a regular around the show circuit.
