Ok guys.....not quite been for a spin in no 395 of 500 here at the dealer in Vannes.....but sat into it ( needed two sales men to help me out mind you!)....what a fab offering.

Took some pics but don't know how to upload off a Moto G phone.

If if goes half as well as it looks and feels to the touch it will be a little gem

Without being rude I would have thought it would take a few strong men to help you get out......

Two turned up at the Scottish Italian Car Day, had a good look around them, seem quite impressive, with some nice design touches.Only thing lacking was noise, they seemed rather quiet.

Nice sense of drama from them but to me they just looked like Lotus Elise's with Alfa wheels and silly carbon headlights. I'm not convinced that its a better offering than an actual Lotus, especially given the lack of luggage space. Undecided would probably describe my feeling.

I agree outrun.....A used Lotus Exige is the better car from what I have read in a number of reviews but there will be many that want the Italian style of this car even though for me it's too much money and like you say those headlights are just terrible...I hope you can retro fit the up and coming 4C Spyder lights and they look much better.

MrsAllandwf wanted to fit machine guns in the lights!

Hahahaha...Can see why....It looks like they have been too heavy handed with the mascara. Apart from that though a very, very pretty car.

Looked at the 4C at the show last Sunday and a pretty car.
Had a deposit down on one for 3 years but always said I wanted the Spider if they made one.
Deposit switched to Spider few months ago when they announced they would make one.
Now got the Maser. Looking at the 4C I think to myself am I really going to buy that instead of a Maserati?
Bought an Alfa 3 years ago instead of a Maser.
The depreciation on the Alfa would have covered me buying a 4200, and apart from fuel servicing it fully every year (and probably a clutch) and at the end of the period I could have given the car away for nothing and still lost less than I did by owning the Alfa.
Not that I am bitter!!! ;-)

I love the Spider and if I was buying one that's what I would go for.....PLus you get the normal front lights which makes it perfect looking. Would imagine you will not loose much money over time on one as they will be pretty rare...
