The good morning thread

Morning all. Busy start to the day today.
Lots of stuff going on with our new bit of kit so have been speaking with potential distributors, which is quite exciting as we should soon hear back from OFGEM with regards to getting things into something called ECO3.

Means nothing to most, but it means I'm one step closer to retirement. Although I'm also one step closer to the grave as well. So I guess it means nothing at all!

Morning. Pointless meeting #16 today (weekly) and then a different, pointless bunfight.

Can't see any particularly hard decisions, but...

Morning,

Potter over from Cirencester to Bletchley Park this morning. Should be a fun day. Then need to find a jet wash to clean the muck off the car before Silverstone tomorrow.

Good morning everyone, has anyone noticed that it's a tad warmer today?

Cue Facebook pictures of car temperature gauges. It's not a heatwave until someone posts these highly accurate devices

Morning all. Office today which suits me. Shorts and flip flops.
So glad I don't work in London any more. Can't believe they are advising people not to travel on the trains unless its necessary.
I guess going to work to pay the bills isn't classed as necessary any more!

Today I had planned to go to an office to pretend to do some work, but when I looked at the weather forecast last night I thought ******** to that, converted my meetings to phone calls and set my alarm for an hour later than had I got the train. As 'train services running across the entire network will be canceled, delayed or revised' I'm confident that I made a good decision.

So I'm at home in the garden with my laptop and a cup of coffee. The robotic vacuum cleaner is, without doubt, the most productive member of the household today. He seems largely untroubled by the heat.

I guess that depends on what you do.

Of course it does. Hence 'necessary' For some it will be necessary to go to a place of work. For others (like you) not so much.

For still others (like me) I have a selection of places of work. I could go into London, but it's not necessary, so I won't

That doesn't sound very still at all. I might even go so far as to describe it as peripatetic. I suggest you redraft your misleading message accordingly.
