well we worked out the finance last night, budget would be 33-35K put 5K down (2.5k each) and the remaining payments over 5 years/60 months would be 330 quid a month.

dont do finance my man try and buy it outright only do finance if you have a very good job and not self employed...

Unfortunatly most people have to take finance to obtain their dream ... Not many can save and pay outright ....

finance is fine as long as you are sensible and have what is affordable. Being an old git my advice to a younger man would be to save like crazy when you get your first job stick six months salary in the bank in case you lose you job( safety net) buy a £800 run around and finance a nice car to use at weekends which will not loose much money in three years. That way after three years you have a nice car in the garage all paid for which you have also enjoyed. Then do the exercise all over again. Do that three times and you will be driving around in a £50k car all paid for.

If only life was that easy!

i know people have to have finance for their dream....saving up 30 or 40k is hard....all i meant was put down as much as you can not just the min dep so that your payments are low..ive had friends putting down 5k and getting 40k cars that they couldnt afford to run yet alone pay the monthly loan and it went **** up...just be careful
