....is it wrong when two nice women walk behind when the car and your sitting there in neutral gear, to rev the pants off the car just as they pass by. We all seemed to enjoy it!! :)

The storage space in the 2 seat Stradale. Just did a 3500 road trip to France/Monaco/Italy. We had all our gear including a tent packed in the car. It was the perfect GT in my eyes. Obviously the sound is amazing, especially in all those tunnels ! Also the looks. I still take a glance back every time I walk away from it.

The change in exhaust pitch between 2.5k and 3.5k revs - sounds like a banshee!!!

Also love the 'quirky' electronics...

I love the look of the Granturismo, the sound ( now even better with urutu's carbonfibre sound horns/airpipe, x pipe and Larini sports Cats pipes), the handling and, with Zep's big brake kit plus braided brake hoses , to misquote Oddball from Kelly's Heroes, I can get outta trouble quicker than I got into it - the kit definitely transformed the braking from ok to excellent. Looks, noise, power, style.
Oh and also twice on a trip to the Highlands it made two separate groups of little boys run to the end of their gardens and bounce around with excitement. It made my day.
As did a full throttle take off from the southbound M6 toll road payment booth this afternoon afterwhich the Granturismo positively.......devoured the comparatively open road. Good times.

I will confess in a moment of weakness I bought a t shirt on eBay that reads :

They say money can't buy happiness, but I've never seen a sad Maserati Granturismo owner. Or something like that. S'true!

I'm not ashamed to say I love that car at all. It's as good as hoped it would be. I still can't quite believe I own one every now and then.

That's what I love about my Granturismo.

Imagine that X20 when a certain group of Maserati owners head down to LeMans though numerous toll booths………
The man speaketh the truth. The roar of our enthusiasm can be heard throughout the land.

Including, apparently, at the mayor's house.

Was just thinking of that myself...Toll-booth Roulette is great fun...
Guess which one takes a tag and will be clear, brake heavily into lane, slowly creep at 10kmh, wait for the beep, see gate rise, then floor it! See how many 'places' you can gain in the convoy...

This year there was quite a lot of sideways action on the wet concrete at the barriers
