Moi. Same here later. Not sure what's on the menu tonight. Mrs C has professed a desire for Espresso Martini a la Martini Bar in Cancun. I shall not be partaking of my Cancun staple, Mojito. Just seems wrong.
There shall be some jolly fine wine though, I hope and a fresh bottle of Winter's Gold for our return (unless we feel like a dram of the really good stuff) on special at Tesco (thanks to whoever pointed that out)
Have fun, all

Moi. Same here later.btw it’s still on. Got another 2 today which means the third was free!!
Total respect to you for that. Very generous. It's a bloody good buy at that price. Not so much at £40.
Mrs C has decided she's probably had enough (the espresso martini was substantial)
I think I'll have one of these:

what’s it like. I never used to like whisky but I’m developing a taste.
Ok. So I’m a Total newbie. I’ve JD for mixing, Jim Beam, winters gold , 20 yr old glenmorangie and a couple of others. WhereBloody fine (as it should be at that price) Smoky and peaty. A bit like Lagavullin dialled down. Given I like Lagavullin dialled up this is a complement. Highly complex. Probably not where I'd start, though.

Should I be heading?
I like the winters gold. Too much. I’ll try a few more and report back. Luckily as a Yorkshire man even if it’s **** I’ll drink it it anyway.
I’ll try. Under sufferance.Given you like the Winter's Gold, the 'normal' Dalwhinnie would be a good place to start
