I've given up believing a lot of what I read in the papers. Journalistic integrity in some 'news' papers is ******!
Actually, it was probably the neighbour who grassed them up to the police thinking that they could give them the exclusive.Who tipped off the Mail who was being questioned. The POLICE that's who.
I would not trust the police in any capacity nowadays. Who was it who alerted the media over Cliff Richard's home being raided for example?

That will be us that paid then.hopefully the bbc learnt a valuable and very expensive lesson from that, looks like the police learnt fook all

yup and to think that the bbc were actually thinking of appealing the case costing "us" even more money and with little chance of success, heads should of rolled at the bbc, thank christ they bit the bullet and just swallowed it
Perhaps someone felt it was high time that a certain popular and ageless singer was exposed to the public. Only it backfired.
You mean someone at the BBC or someone in the Police force?
Or divert attention from somewhere else?God knows! But someone felt he needed exposing for something.

Impressive thread drift even by standards on here. lolI was told years ago Cliff has a colostomy bag, and that's why he never married etc. Same ex-nurse told me she'd also removed an 'object' from Lionel Blair's bottom, this was eighties though....
