I've given up believing a lot of what I read in the papers. Journalistic integrity in some 'news' papers is ******!

Me too, I rarely bother looking at them now as the standards are so poor but even the daily TV news is as bad, spinning stories rather than facts, stories advertising there own programmes and all naming before trial - you rarely hear them apologise afterwards - drives me mad

Perhaps someone felt it was high time that a certain popular and ageless singer was exposed to the public. Only it backfired.

They didn't; it was the "us" who picked up the bill whilst DG's mega-salary and pension continue as before. Meanwhile BBC constantly pleads for more funding as it's apparently strapped for cash.
