Seems as though Mercedes have surprised everyone again by bringing a radically different car to the second test. Question is if it works when used in anger.

Excited about drive to survive tomorrow…

Looks like Merc have been sneaky in having a second design ready to go the car in Bahrain is much different to the car in Barcelona and needless to say Christian Horner is having a fit

Fabulous to see isn't it. Moaning Horner is now an F1 fixture.

I think the Ferrari looks good and may be a step up from the past couple of years.

But I have no clue of course, just a hunch!

No-one has! Been watching on and off all day and even the experts don't really know who is going to be quickest. The Ferrari looks solid and Merc looks very different route to the others but nowhere near the top of the timing charts (but who knows how hard they are trying).

The real leaderboard in testing is number of laps done... Timing means nothing they will have the engine turned down and carrying high fuel loads.

They all play games during testing but Merc wouldn't have turned up with something that different if they didn't think it was going to have an impact

I did about seven months ago. Since then no real news. Doubt it will ever turn up. Need a plan B.

A mate got one recently after waiting for at least a year. It had a weird vibration in the rev range, he sold to them for 10k over list and took a turbo instead. Make sure, when it does arrive, that it's a good one!

Yep I was quoted about 15 months. Quality seems variable, one of the cars I test drove had a sunroof that rattled really badly. They also sound pants, not sure why I ordered it really but I fancy a change and this was the best £100k new car I could find. Planning on keeping it a decade so the depreciation should average out ok. Might buy something different that is used but current prices are just silly IMHO.

I have watched every episode of S4 by now...!
I am less convinced of my previous position with respect the last race as it pertains to LH vs MV .
I am comfortable to conclude that Race Direction made some clumsy, badly judged decisions over the year. The biggest travesty of incompetence being the last race fiasco. The fans were the ones who have really been shafted by this farce. Look at the numbers though, and they love it. Go figure...
Mazepin is a spoiled POS. No one needs miss the Russian after this year's departure IMO.
And for me, a weird mix of offence and amusement that these "kids" use such foul language as a matter of course. It kind of loses it's edge when the only words they know are "fuc51ng" and, "c7nt".
Use your words children......
Bite me. :battered:
