Its called understeer, too much speed for the amount of grip available to the front tyres and no amount of lock will make it turn.

If they loose the bling and bring it in around 80k AND it handles more like a GS than a GT I think it may well sell. Cant see it being much shy of 100k though, no matter what the factory say. Wasn't the 4c originally going to be 30 odd k?

Not sure about now, but Rockingham was always pretty cheap to race at, normally a good indicator that track days would be pretty cheap too.

Good way to bed the clutch in, mine was new when we went last year, didn't do it any harm at all. You definitely don't need to thrash it, you can take it pretty easy and still be faster than almost anything other than datsuns. And if you do go and take it easy, you'll be in the same club as...

Bearing or handbrake issue perhaps. Had a bit of a strange noise from mine just before the handbrake destroyed the rear offside.

If you've not booked tickets you've only tonight and tomorrow to do so if you want in-field parking I believe. If you're not in there you won't get near the track. Just a shame I don't still have the orange one :(

Glad you managed to sort it! Brunty is pretty tame, the only way you'll get much better is a private track hire. Lots of cars aren't driven at anywhere near the limit, just out giving passengers a ride. You can drive most of it just like a road; so long as you keep your eyes open for fast cars...

Very nice. I don't normally like ragtops but the 360 is worth having an exception for. Did you try out the coupe as well or was the heart set on the spyder? I haven't tried a 458 in anger yet but I'd agree that the 360 has the sweetest handling. Chucking it into a corner it just feels ...

Have you done trackdays before, any advanced driver training or high speed handling courses? If so make sure you tell them that. Have a look on pistonheads or some of the trackday forums, I guess this must come up a lot.
