Thanks for the replies chaps. I thought last year was the last time at Stanford Hall.

Fancy doing one or two meets this year if theres an SM gathering. Not on here so much nowadays (busy with new family and new business) but will def try and come along to something.

I've just been informed by The Boss that she thought Auto Italia was on a Sunday this year and that she's organised a big family get together for the 4th.

Gutted doesn't quite cover it.

I also need to drop out, similar reasons - catching up with some family we haven't seen in an age. Shame to miss the chance to meet a few more SMers and admire Italian exotica.

Hi I will be going but not in the QP but just doing some networking for our show. I went to the Brooklands last year at the supercar event and had a great time going round the Mercedes World track and going up the hillclimb. I have attached a clip from youtube from the drive up the hill: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u-hR4DB4-eg I have attached a picture also after I went round with the rest of the drivers at Mercedes World, it's a great day out :) 070.jpg

come on adam!! put your foot down!!

Dem, I would do and ordinarily there would be no contest. I haven't seen my Godfather for ages. He's a D-Day veteran and a personal hero. We worked out that trying to coordinate my Mum's diary and ours if we don't see them this weekend it won't be until July.

Even so, bloody shame to be missing Brooklands.

I am planning to be at Auto Italia Brooklands on Saturday. Looks like few from this site will be there but if you are hope to see you in the Maserati area.

I am tempted Dem, I am thinking of how I could maybe stay over somewhere on friday evening locally, that's the only way it would work out. If not I would have to leave home at silly o'clock, drive down, enjoy myself all day, then drive all the way home. I have to organise house sitters for home and the animals, someone to feed the deer etc, etc. I am looking in to what's possible, but looking doubtfull at the moment.

My wife and I are looking at going. Tomorrow Friday I am passing by Brooklands and will pop in to buy tickets.

See you there....
