Sorry, didn't make it to Brooklands yesterday in the end – last minute change of plans and went to the Donington Historic Festival weekend instead (was originally planning to go today but friends had to change plans). Looks like you had the better weather, heavy rain during morning but then it cleared up, but a good turn out and a couple of interesting Maserati's racing. I will be back at Brooklands for the Double Twelve event definitely.

Also planning on Prescott 9th June – Maserati Club AGM and Concours 2013 with the E-Type register - Miles' post#18 in this thread, can anyone confirm that is open to the public not just Maserati Club members?

I believe you could be right MAF...I remember a yellow one at Meridien with black leather, yellow piping and silver tech cloth....Not that nice a combo to be honest to much going on...Yours is soo much better.

I went but didn't get there until later on... Managed to get into park with the other Maserati's though.

Getting there late we also left late and came back to the car being filmed for a national geographic program! A program about 3200's is being made. They were actually selling the 3200 bits to part fund the program.

Fantastic location is good wood, I really like the fact that the arriving cars become part of the show. Everyone gets to enjoy all the cars without looking like you're attempting to steal one in the car park!

I had another CEL up on the way home too! I suppose it wouldn't be a day out in a Maserati without one...

It was a good day, made new friends. And I enjoyed our chat Neil and Lisa, and look forward to seeing you both at your event.

Thanks Andy. IIRC the early car has techno cloth and the later car (08 plate) is almost exactly the same as mine but has a carbon fibre rear spoiler and no sat nav aerial. All of them have anthracite coloured wheels as well.

I didn't go (again) last year it was too cold / wet / windy - this year it was too sunny / dry / warm so the good lady insisted we / I worked in the garden.

You could work for National Rail with excuses like that! Next year it'll be the wrong klind of leaves on the road.
