Andy,
Last year was a but wet, but thus year is going to be glourioys sunshine.

Maybe we need a Midlands Masersti Forum.. Warks, Leics, N,hants& Bucks has a high number if owners.

We have Silverstone, Rockingham, Mallory, Donnington, together with fabulous roads & stately homes,I for one would like us to consider more meets in this neck of the woods ??

Cheers

Agreed.

I met a new owner at Shiltech a couple of days ago, based in Milton Keynes. He's had his Maserati for a couple of weeks, and will probably come to Stanford Hall on Sunday to meet up with some of us.

Car also clean and ready to roll :)

Have to collect a monster machine tonight though - SEAT Ibiza 1.2SX for my 17 year old daughter. It appears to have some sort of electronic traction control... Why? :D

Looks like

Only a handful from here, but if previous years are anything to go by, a large number of non forum owners seem to attend :)

Well.....we are only a small percentage of owners in the UK on the SM forum...........would have been useful to have handed out flyers to build up membership though

Happy to put a 'flyer' or similar in the windscreen. Is there anything used before / suitable for tomorrow and ready to print?

Well, I daresay a simple "Join the Maserati forum : www.sportsmaserati.co.uk" would get the point across?

I'm aiming to be there for around 9 - 9.30am, so on the M1 southbound from Loughborough by about 8.30am. Fancy getting back for the tennis, so I'll be away between 2 and 3 depending on how the whole thing turns out.

I'll be in the Exxy, so fingered crossed.

It seems it will be just...

Drewf.
Gixerboy - Dave.
SpyderNick - Nick.
Emtee - Miles.

Hopefully some other Maserati owners and some decent motors to have a ganders around.

Have fun and what a great day for it! I remember attending a few years ago in my old Fiat Coupe in shocking, wet conditions, so am very disappointed not be going tomorrow - if only it had of been next weekend instead!

Thanks Stuart. Yes the last two years have been shocking weather, so certainly better on that front. Not sure what to expect now that the owners club isn't there and now that it's not exclusive to Italians. I wonder whether it will have scared a lot of folk away (that and the high gate fee), so we'll see. I'll take the camera anyway.

Think we need to really move with the majority & commission some midllands events for the majority,

I'm gonna set a separate link for a monthly midlands Maserati meet. Jack hills cafe on the A5 near towcester, great links to M1 / M40 bit like the Ace cafe but in the Midlands:)

So why doesnt the official club go any more? Have they an alternative event to attend?
