I am sure I saw that Autofficina are having an open day tomorrow but I can't find anything on the site now. Have I imagined this???

I see they are expanding, a good bit of news in the current climate, when I visited them last year, they were very friendly and helpful!

Damm, missed this! They're a really nice bunch, got my replacement wing mirror assembly fitted there a couple of weeks ago, its like a little family, loads of really nice cars being worked on & a really nice 512BB was having a tune up. Intend getting my next service there, anyone had any experience?

Quite busy when I got there, mainly Ferrari owners although two Maseratis turned up as I was leaving. The Enzo was attracting all the attention and there was a stunning black and white Gallardo parked outside by one of the visitors which left before I could snap it. Lambos and Ferraris for sale and a 4200 up on a ramp which was useful as they could show me the possible cause of a really annoying rattle I have - a heatshield. Food and drink available and I had a quick chat with Elias, the owner. Seemed clean, tidy and well organised and I understand that they are moving to larger premises nearby, only complaint was no Krispy Cremes!

No Krispy Kremes......glad I missed it...lol!! When I was there they had a 3200 up for about 16K (don't quote me), did not see the mileage either, but looked pretty clean, they must have sold it. If there was an Enzo there being worked on.. says a lot as you'd think it'd be at an official dealership judging by how complex they are... if it was 'being worked on'.

Seems a very professional operation.

Hi Andy,

I popped in soon after purchasing my 4200, just because they were local and I wanted to have a look around. They were very friendly and professional. My car was checked over and the diagnostic machine was plugged to check for any issues. All was done FOC and we must spent 30mins going over the car and chatting.

I've since had a major service, clutch replaced and a few other things done by them, all done at a better than fair rate and in very good time. I cannot fault the team in any way. I can fully understand the previous comment about them being like family; That's the warm, welcoming feeling you get there.

I can only go by my own experiences and a few others that I have spoken to, all of which have been great.

My view is independent, as I have no affiliation to them. I'm just happy to recommend anyone who I believe to be of good character and working to a professional standard.

Can't say fairer that that John. Good to hear your experinces have been positive. Did you do any comparisons price-wise? If so, how did they compare?

Hi Emtee,

I did look around online for other prices for servicing and also spoke to a couple of other places. I found Autofficinia were fairly priced and if the work was done any quicker than specified, they didn't just charge the standard time. I know some places will charge an 8hr job, even if it's done in 7hrs for example. To be honest, it was not just down to price but also how comfortable you feel there. You're not treated like an idiot or ushered out the back, so you can't see what they are doing. Everything is open and you are always made to feel welcome!
