Yep. Seen a couple in the wild. And, of course, it's an Alfa.....

I suppose what it all comes down to is if you're happy with the potential risk of an eye watering bill or more importantly if your partner is

Aston and Bentley are in another league

Mustangs are really not my thing (no offence to anyone)

Done a lot of research on the Bentley. Lots of the parts can be had in a VW box, and there seem to be plenty specialists. And you can get diagnostic software for a sensible price as well. However, still on a par with a Maserati.

Aston fixed price servicing seems like a good deal but yes, the extras can get spendy.....

is it a phaeton box though , they’re on a separate shelf to the regular VW parts , lots of one off parts

don’t get me wrong I’d love a Bentley , especially the new continental GT , I just wouldn’t sleep at night knowing the bollocking I’d be in for if it packed up with a 5k repair bill.

anyway my sporty car days are over unless we win big somewhere , I’m currently in negotiations to buy a motor home , 60 has arrived :D

Take a moment to think why you sold the last 2 Maserati and then reflect on the future choice.

A hobby car that does not break the bank can often bring far more happiness and keep the other half happy too... thats what my GS is.

I have not caught up fully with the the thread yet but based on your original post, I would have said buy our DB9, but someone placed a deposit this morning...

I would say though that I don't think anyone ever bought an Aston Martin and 6 months down the line were sat in it and said 'I could have bought an Audi' - and I am a big Audi fan, but if you have a chance to buy an Aston then seriously consider it just to say you have and experience it. You have already done the Maserati thing. You will then know where your heart belongs.

Knowing you Chris, I think either the Bentley or an Aston is right up your street.
The only issue I found in the Aston Vantage, was that it felt a little claustrophobic, and you're an inch or two taller than me!

If you're daily-ing it, an MC Shift may be a bit tiresome if you're in traffic for a couple of hours a day. Other than that they're epic!

Is English the only language that uses apostrophes? French does mind you but only for contractions I think. Seen it in German too - Farh'n, farh'n, farh'n auf der Autobahn, again contractions.
