I really like the bright white but wow I can only feel for you with that shocking job; the last photo is the clincher! OMG it wouldn't be acceptable on a 12 year old Saxo.

I'm not an expert myself but I do wrap large galvanized panels with an anti-vandal 3M printed film and they are 2.4m x 1.2, you have to be pretty cannie to get all the dust out and then make it bubble free... This I do by thoroughly cleaning and positioning then misting the area with water so you can float the film into final position before squeegying the water out... then you can warm to set the glue but that's a bit impractical in the middle of a field!

Melting your light & busting the spoiler = unforgivable!

Have you checked to see if they have insurance, When I worked on cars I had £250,000 Professional Indemnity cover as well as the usual £5 million Public Liability... Insurance claim would be my first port of call, if they are Ltd. Co. the will most likely wind it up and run as others have suggested.

Good grief, just catching up on this thread. Peter that's atrocious work! Get another company to moderate the (lack of) quality and work practice..

When I got my quote for the work, I asked if they had liability insurance, they said that they had. I was more concerned about their building burning down around my car at the time, it didn't cross my mind that they would vandalise my car! But, I would bet all the beer in my fridge that this is another lie!

Miles, the problem is I am using the small claims court and there is a limit to what I can claim back, I have already issued the papers, and I am not sure I can amend them to claim even more costs. I am really reluctant to spend anymore money, I have spent way more already than I will ever get back. Also I think that even if I win this case I doubt I will see a penny. They either just won't pay, or they will fold their company and start again somewhere else. If they don't pay, I will probably end up selling the debt to a collections company for pennys in the pound. Although I would really really like to get the money, and to be honest, need the money. The main thing for me is justice, I don't want these donkeys getting away with it.

I have also found out that I am not the only one taking them to court, apparently another wrapping company called Racoon are too. Using the portfolio of another company and claiming it to be your own work is not a good idea. Especially when the work you do is incredibly substandard.

I really feel for you Peter. It's one of those infuriating situations where, if the voices got the better of you, you'd want to take things into your own hands. Hope it makes it through small claims and that you get your due recompense.

Thanks, I hope one way or another justice is carried out. Or my wrap will have ended up costing me the best part of £5k, I'd rather have given the money away to a good cause.

Matt, what's the reason to wrap your car in White, is it because you can get a black one at a better price...

Its because I want a white car with red leather and the only way I am going to get that is to buy a black GTS with red leather (common) and wrap it white.

Also, I can then cut patches out of the sills, front bumper and rear spoiler to give it the MC sportline look for no extra money:

Matt, if you buy from a dealer why not buy a white one with black and offer the dealer a couple of grand (the price of a wrap) to swap the interior with a red one from a black with red. That way you get the white with red you want and they get a black with black which is a popular combo and should sell on Ok. All you have to do then is put the black inserts on. Simples!
