wasn't untill the early eighties that it was discovered that was the root of the problems of Nissan , Fiat group , Mercedes and British leyland , Russians were the mainl distributor of the steel , they never added the vital ingredients that smelting removes, hence it halved the life of the steel , or so im led to believe , all porcshe panels were zinc plated as were the later panels of mercedes so the effects were not quite as pronounced , many new cars of that era were zeibarted , it was sold as an option when new and gave a paint /body guarantee , unlikely that this car being an early one had this done but may have been restored and treated at a later date , as the paintwork looks to be generallly in good order for its age , as i said Frank a simple one to do ,
My reckoniing ths will go for around £1500 at least if not £2K still cheap tho if thats all the problems its got
