Earlier back in this the thread (page 7), I promised to give some further thought as to good places locally for lunch (i.e. nice pub with good food and ample parking). I’ve done a recky over the weekend (thought I had better sample their ales – wife driving, but not my Maser!), and have come up with the following:

White Hart – Wroughton

They are all within 10 minutes of the event, however there are several “long cuts” of up to an hour if people fancied a longer spin…. (the longest being from DL to Wroughton, on through Avebury, around and up to Malborouh, then back to either Wroughton or Badbury…. additionally there are many alternatives!

Try the Castle Inn in Castle Combe...if your bringing the lady she may want to.stay there for the day whilst. you take in the garage.

Plus you can pop into Castle Combe race track as it the Alfa racing on Saturday as well...

Iam a newbie and hopefully buying a 4200 soon would love to come along and have a chat and get some buying advice and check out some members cars as I just can not decide on colour combo and spec , would be turning up in a BMW z4 though , would this be ok , not unless some one would like a passenger .

I'm aiming to be there for about 10am. Staying just outside Swindon tonight, so should have a 5 ish mile drive in the morning. Ill keep my eyes open for Maseratis en route.
Thanks again for the help with hotels by the way.
