Their not undesirable as such it’s just the fact that most systems over the last few years are retrofitted panels on an apex roof and often badly installed. The point I was making is that we have strict planning laws here especially on the front elevation of a property but you can just stick solar panels on your roofPardon my being blissfully ignorant of social norms on your side of the pond and all, but… is there some sort of social stigma to having PV panels on the roof?
I’ve got a 32 panel 9.6 kW array and haven’t paid electrics in three years. Here, panels get you an easy $10,000 min markup on your house price when selling, no matter the age.
From the sentiments above it seems people in the UK consider PV panels undesirable?
