I am seriously thinking about this, it would be just me, and 10 days is pushing it a bit. Prehaps if it was not a part of Le Mans or instead of, maybe I could make it work.

I take it we are taking a space saver wheel with us. What is the stud pattern and offset for the Coupe?

Yeah that would go for me too Matt size is 5x108 with 55 or 62 offfset , i'll have to check what they use on the spacesavers cos it'llhave to cover both front and back

Guys, I purchased this today...

P1020586 (Medium).JPG

The rim is 3¼ x 18 - tyre Pirelli 115/85/18,

It has the same PCD as 3200, 4200 & GS, (5x108).
It will be accompanying me on any European trip,
and will be available to anyone should they need it
Regards,
Enzo.

Yes Sir...
I put a new tyre on the front today and have this wheel on the back, so have 4 wheels on my wagon now :)
This means I have the spare wheel for European trips ( This has made Linda very happy )...
and can now take my time looking for replacement wheels.
ES had one 575 in today, I think a front, (ohhh, they are much nicer than the 550s IMO), apparently I just missed a set.
Regards,
Enzo.

Did James give you the impression that there was a good turn around on used parts or that they were constantly in demand and fly out the window quickly

sounds like you had wallet emptying session today how you get on with the lower wishbones / steering knuckle joint ....any joy

There is a good turnaround by the sound of things, although he does not have a lot of 550/575 used parts at the moment.
The set of 575 wheels had been around 'for quite some time' but were recently purchased, leaving just one that looked in good condition (not refurbished).
The only thing I bought today was the spare wheel, but this means I am now able to move Florence around as I wish :)
I don't have my full parts list yet...but the main things (that I could remember) I need are:
Rear lower lever- to order
Fender - to order
Front upper lever - in stock
Front lower lever - in stock
Front bumper - in stock
No joy with the steering knuckle, I completely forgot :-(
Regards,
Enzo.

Though the stud pattern was going to be the same as the Alfa, but they are 5x98

Linda and I are planning this trip also, but we're hoping to tie in with the Monza GP, so later in the year and we're thinking of how to tie in the coast road from Rijeka to Split (overnight ferry from Ancona), then over to Budapest and Vienna before heading back west again. Lots of logistics, but could be fabulous.

now that would be a sight to behold , and a superb focul point of the trip Maurizio , weathermen put forward your best guestimate as to best time for best weather , I usually find that May is good , a right teaser , makes you think summer is on the way before june and july lets us down badly , but im happy to go with the general consensus
