EVO Triangle Italian Meet - May 8th 2011

Hello Maseratista,

We over at alfaowner.com are having a meet and drive around North Wales on Sunday the 8th of May, meeting at the Holiday Inn Chester West at 10am.

We already have a healthy contigent of Alfa's and have invited other Italian Car clubs along so here I am extending the invite here as well.

Some of us are staying the Saturday night at the Holiday Inn (me included).

We don't descrimate against the French, I think one of the Fiat Coupe Club guys will be coming in something French so you wont be alone... but why not hire a fiat 500 for the day?

If one of the lads gets his finger out there will be an Autodelta 3.7 and a Autodelta 3.7 Supercharged EVO 147 GTAs there as well.

There's a group of 15 going from the north west super car drivers club for a day's hooning around!

Not sure but theres a guy with a V8 Vantage coming, he has a Alfa as well but by popular request I think the ala will be staying home.

Just arrived back after a fun packed weekend around North Wales including around the Evo Triangle.
Great roads but the Triangle was heaving with police on Friday so watch your step if you go for it!
Otherwise, I was amazed at just how good the road surfaces are around our trip from Shrewsbury, Llangollen, Conway, Aberdovey, Bala and back.
300 fun filled miles over two days in blazing sun shine and some super company (F430, F360, Aston Martin, TVR, Lotus, Porsche GT3 to name a few!!)

David, are you coming on the Alfa run next Sunday? Would be good to meet up. I too have just got back from a blast with the SCD; a run to St Annes. James C69 and I flew the Maserati flag with some gusto! Would be good to do the same on Sunday.

Not sure what we are doing next Sunday yet, but it does sound tempting.
I had a message from SCD about today's run but I was still in Aberdovey this morning and then came back via Bala and Llangollen. Why is it that the roads around North Wales are so good compared to the bumpy, pot hole riddled **** we have to drive on!!
If you check out the thread on SCD you will see my car in the group line up outside the Groves Inn.

Whats the NorthWest SCD club exactly? Depending on the weather might come along on Sunday.

Simon, the SCD is the Super Car Drivers club. A group of like minded individuals who like to go out for the day for a bit of ( an occasionally spirited) drive with a diverse mix of super cars. It's great fun. However, the run this sunday is with the Alfa drivers so I am going along if the weather is good as it's an excuse for a drive around North Wales. It would be good to see another Maser out for a blast.
