Hi Jay I live right by Goodwood. Was going to go this year with the guys I go to Le Mans with but have my best mates 40th birthday up in Cheshire so no can do.

I went 2 years ago and it was really good, much better than the Festival if Speed.

Enjoy, oh and don't go down the A27 to it, approach from the North via Lavant, the traffic is a nightmare.

Very enjoyable, drove all three days from London - Alfa Spider for Friday and Saturday and the Marcos for Sunday, parked in the Historic car park the whole weekend. Covered about 400miles all in all, oof. Alfa saw 110units per hour on the way down, new cams, sports exhaust and dizzy really paid off. Stops well too with the Tarox upgrade!

Highlights were the incredible Goodwood TT cars (the 250GTOs, Cobras, DB4GTs, Maser 151 etc) and the E-Type race, some proper nutters there, spins a-plenty and cornering with BOTH inside wheels off the ground. Also 10 Spitfires in the air at once and a proper 'Wall of Death' at the fairground! Very tiring but enjoyable weekend :)

Plus I managed to have 3 roast lunches in 3 days, very happy *burp*

Matt, I;d be up for a Goodwood track day but Malc used to have to organise quite late in the season due to costs - wet Goodwood is pretty scary, it's all off camber with no run-off... Wet grass is not your friend if you get it wrong! However... count me in!

I maintain 14st as a minimum to stay as a heavyweight at kickboxing. Sometimes 3 roast dinners are what's needed :)

14st 6lbs at the moment! The 6lbs sits out front and is mainly due to work lunches and Sarah's dinners :(

Hi All

Hats off to Maserati for organising a great day out, We were well looked after, only managed a couple of pics, had a good drive back to Essex following a cheeky little Enzo. Hope you like the pics.

Now wet my appetite to go back to Le Mans next year, I did speak to the Marketing Manager at Lancasters and asked if Maserati will be organising anything official for Le Mans next year, He was going off to check, if not may sort out something if enough interest.

Been round Goodwood many times, great track, I heard prices had been creeping up to silly money now as its very popular. The breakfast club meets are nice, perhaps we should invade one of those one day this winter?
