Just bought an Alfa Giulietta

Traded in Mrs T's Mito for a Giulietta.

2.0 170hp diesel veloce spec in white.
Ex demo with 2,500 on the clock.

Very nice for the day to day stuff when the GS is safely tucked away.

Drove very nice for a tractor unit!
Picking it up Saturday in Leicester.

But heed my warning well!
if your only using it as a town/shopper type car make sure u take it out atleast once a week and give it the lead foot treatment, if you dont ull have problems with the DPF and or EGR

Love them! Mrs also wants one and we drove the 1.6 diesel!
Excellent car and good deals to be had also....

Agree with the diesel thing though, if city then twinair is good

Is the DPF under warranty????

if it Fails due to ill fitting or defect then yes if it fails due to "city" driving then no. its part of the exhaust system.

At around 850 a go on most cars its not cheap and not normally covered by warranty.

Wouldn't consider a diesel to tootle around town.

Bmw 1 series diesels cant have DPF as ive done 15months of city driving and 9k and not given me a problem

that will be why i ripped the fecker off mine ! sometimes long runs some times very short hop skip and jump runs,

like the selespeed system fiat were the first to bring it out on there cars so they had all of the gremlins to sort out BMW do have a better DPF system on there cars, merc and vauxhall have a worse system ford i dont know about tbh. Honda are on par with BMW,
the DPF systems are getting better but i still would not have a modem derv with a dpf for town/city driving.

Selespeed....Don't mention that pile of poo........Had some very sh1t experience with a 156 Sportswagon selespeed......So much so I would never have another 156 even though I think they look great still.......
