Seems that Lambo's are continuing to beat back the depreciation trend for yet another year, most top end performance cars are following a downward spiral , but Lambo's im sure bottomed out 2 years ago and then rose £10K and have continued to stay 10K over 2009 prices , anyone else noticed or can explain this

Lambo's dont seem to be losing that much money, LP560's seem to have bottomed out for the moment at around 120k and LP640's are still fetching 150k for 06/07 cars, even late 09 examples are fetching around 180/190k and around this price for the roadster varient.

A great investment is a 6.2 Murcielago Roadster, 12-24 months ago, 120k would have got you one, a black Roadster sold around 2 weeks ago for 160k, these are going up in value as they are so rare.

Another great Lambo to buy now is the 07/08 Gallardo Superleggera, many think the Gallardo SE is the rarest Gallardo as only 250 were made, however because this was announced as a special edition, people thought they would be collectable and sort after yet the 07/08 Gallardo Superleggera was not announced as a special edition and with the LP560 due in late 2008, only 172 07/08 Gallardo Superleggera's were built and not many came to the UK. They are currently sitting at around 100k yet i bet in 2 years, they will have increased in vale to around 130k maybe more as people will become aware of how rare they are.

I have had my Gallardo now for 2 years, I think if I were to sell it now, I would at a minimum get what I payed for it, or perhaps up to 10k more. I think a lot of mallards in the classifieds are hanging around for a bit, it's a little hard to know what they actually sell for. My mate sold his gallardo after owning it for a 18 months and gained about £5k. I think it has something to do with the recession a couple of years ago, and prices dropping fairly low. I might actually be talking total ****, as I have had several beers.

Mallards??? I don't actually know what I meant to say there, my Macs auto-correct, possibly cars, or Gallardos.

Well just doing a parts llist on this one i happened t spy yesterday , im useless with models , so i take it this is just a gallardo spyder, i know there are other models that blend in to the 2006 onwards , any one got a definitive model untill someone can get back to me from copart , on the surface it looks worse than it is as its been part stripped by the insurance co

Thats just a standard Spyder, gearbox and suspension is slightly different from the previous 05 and older coups, I wouldn't touch that with a barge pole, even the airbags have gone, thats mega in its self. looks like it needs about £50k spent on it!!! Might be good to strip and sell spares, if there are any left!
