Thought that would bring a smile in uncertain times Frank , but really i do have a Donk , he's always there for me in times of need , just takes a few times £30 , after all we dont want him getting done for bribery do we
Loz....a gentleman to the last.....they are hard to find, and are more costly than Ferrari/Lambo bits............hence the time line etc.....but if you had a contact who didn't want me to pay the national debt all by myself...then great!!!
She looks a good'un Frank but it is going to be a labour of love to make her mint again. Not to happy to see her getting wet, Presumably it has been in a garage all that time? so no major UV damage to interior?
As i said , we have a place near to me that builds from scratch re-creations all sorts , they make a lot of there own stuff and grills etc , might be a road to take if we have a pattern to copy , see how you go
Newton....the story goes......4 owners from new...last one in 1967, in 1976 they decided to get it refurbed, interior plus paint, sent seats away for upholstering.....they got lost over a 10 yr period...never ran since then, gota better interior thrown in but needs redoing ...all of it..........................or.......but then bought cheaply and will see where the whole thing takes me.
Have a grill lined up Loz...thanks...........it is a hand made car effectively.....................2000 parts went to make an Alfa of the era....and 4000 for a lancia!!!!
Nearest pic I have....so few left of them....left to right is the earlier model a B10....slightly different front etc, centre B20/24 coupe and on right the spider.......found one, but not in my fav colour!
...fingers crossed......word has it on the UK car transporter grapevine, an NI registered 11 car transporter was seen loading onto the ferry at Holyhead....bound for Enniskillen.......allegedly with a Lancia on it.....
