I put LeMans in the family diary before anyone else arranged anything, so have been quoting the “first come first served” rule and other holidays have to work around it.
Even for work I have arranged our board meeting around it.
It helped that I also told MrsScaf “you can arrange any holidays you like to any destination you like, so long as you avoid LeMans”

I am really going late to let the rest of you lot get totally smashed, destroy French towns and fall into ditches on the way down. That way I may be able to keep up when you get to Le Mans. Although buckets of neat gin is still pushing it.
