Thought that would raise a few questions.....

Very talented at the wheel....and he will be free to anyone that would like to learn the correct line, etc

I was only kidding Andy,
I would really like some advice and instruction, so that would be great.

I am also thinking of bringing my son along...he is 16 and does not hold a licence yet,
would it be ok if he is a passenger in the car at some point? obviously wearing a helmet as well...
is that allowed?

Regards,
Enzo.

You Son will really enjoy....just make sure he says he 17 as most tracks thats the age you have to be I believe. Oh and if you get a free lap I would love to grab a passenger lap with you.

Hi Buddy good to hear from you....It will be good to see you especially as I haven't seen you car since all the upgrades..

Alright matey!

Not sure if I'll bring the Maser to this as I really fancy doing a day in the Marcos (hence the namesake remark). It a 4.6 V8 in an 880kg car so it's very rapid, but also very LOUD! Pretty sure Llandow is the only place that would allow it to run... However, being a Londoner now, the Maser makes a lot more sense to cruise down in :) Will depend on what happens with my gear linkagaes, having trouble in first 3 gears at the moment...

Guys, with regard to helmets - youre talking about your head here, you can't get a spare and the cheapest eBay lid is going to do what it says on the tin...Nada. I got a decent Sparco for £300 from Merlin at Castle Combe but car lids started at £200 or less, it's worth it and even though I do maybe 3-4 track days a year, it'll soon pay for itself. Bike lids are for one BIG impact, car lids are for a series of smaller ones and the biggie should it happen as it was explained to me...

I've put the word out on the South Wales section of Seloc but no where else so feel free if there is anyone else you can think of.

Hope you were not spying on us on the way home via the woods Andy!!!

Yes Sophie will be joining us on the day, although I have not explained the facilities to her...just a bit too basic and I will have an ear bashing on the way home if its cold and wet like last year!

You lot are starting to get the wrong idea about me......

You are right very basic Llandow but at least the greasy Jo's cafe has great trucker food...Fill you boots.

It is good grub, I had a lot of it!

It's a nice circuit, but ******* the Masers tyres and brakes as not particularly long and flowing but it's very informal and friendly. Eventually you just concentrate on driving smoothly and ignore the Elises lapping you!

I got black flagged last year, but they let me back out after a bollocking...

Re Helmets try searching for "OMP Jet Axis" delivered for £90 ish . I think there is a jump in price due to Motor sport regs needing the interior to be fire proof for racing. Track day ones don't need to be but meet British Standard impact requirements. Unfortunately I can't make the date for this event. Shame. Hope you get the numbers and have a great day.
