quite scary really. i remember when i changed from my XKR, was getting the receipts out and thought i would just tot them up. There was me thinking it had been a cheap car to run over the 4 years i had it. Didn't think it was wise to share that information with the other half when i was looking at the Maserati, else i would of ended up with a yaris

It is a very expensive hobby having a supercar as a second car and maybe it is best we don't dwell on how much our habit costs us

My car is my only hobby, i dont smoke or gamble (both greek hobbies), so i spend my money on the car and i get away with it but still hold back with the bills as i know deep down itll upset her....1500 on service, 1k on exhaust etc.....

i think we all hold back on the bills, would cost us a fortune in handbags and shoes otherwise.

Ah yes Bal, how circumstances can change in just a matter of hours! As for Mrs Tee, she was the first person I told. Having the car in the garage for a month smacks of something expensive, so no point skating around it (well up to a point :D ) Cheers, Em.

If I sell next year the car will not have covered more than 15,000 miles with 7,000 of those miles driven by me. That will have entailed 3 main dealer services and a Libyan oil field.........madness but worth every penny
