Easily fitted. 1 Remove Drive Shaft 2 Remove old Ring ( I placed mine on the back of the vice and gave it a good smack with a hammer and cold chisel this loosened it so that it could be tapped of) Heat new ring and drop on....Refit Driveshaft
Hi Matt, the car is running well. But a big but , I have a ABS, MSR, Suspension CEL coming on intermittently ( ABS, MSR, Cruise Control stop working). When I turn off the ignitation and back on and drive forward they extinguish all systems then work? One trigger appears when I hit a pothole on right rear. I have been to my indy and it says a speed sensor but not which one? The interesting thing is that if I put it in Sport it the CEL is triggered less! The Indy said I more than likely needed a new hub but was looking for a less expensive solution.Hi Robert how is my old girl doing, still behaving in the sunshine?
The phonic rings are a 3200 only setup. The 4200/GS runs an in hub system that is not serviceable so means if the ABS sensor fails you have to replace the whole hub/wheel bearing unit. Price is about £500 but it's only an hours work to replace.
Have you had the codes read and what we're they?
It coukd just be the weight has fallen off the lateral accelerometer in the near side front wing?
When the hub sensor fails the lights are usually on all the time and have to be cleared. When it comes on after an impact it's usually the accelerometer.
The speed sensors do fail so it probably is the hub.
It is the hub then, there is little doubt about that.
