Used to see it every day when working in Chiswick, and saw it take of from JFK . Shook the buildings.
Indeed but didn’t the flight engineer turn off one of the working engines so they couldn’t get back round and attempt an emergency landing? Some Frenchie muppet engineer "aren't they all" who was jailed for years caused the accident in France on the Concorde take off from Paris
Bodging an early repair on a aircraft, part of it dropped off into the runway
When Concorde attempted to take off later in the day that part shot up and punctuated the fuel tank!
The rest is history!

If that does happen it'll be a service for the super rich.We was robbed! Shouldn’t have lost such an iconic aircraft. Totally blame the septic tanks for burying SS aircraft just because they couldn’t do it for passengers at the time.
guess we will have to hold on for hypersonic low orbital to become a reality. Anyone fancy London to Sidney in 2.5 hours?

I never had any ambition to fly on Concorde , I just think it's spectacular to see in the air and it's a national disgrace it's not flying today
I also think the UK should have an airworthy english electric lightning , I was lucky enough to see them fly in the 80s at quite a few airshows , they put on a fantastic show as a pair
