Are those Citroen parts (green) under the hood of the Merak, they look familiar?

They certainly are guys same engine went in the Citroen SM. Lovely car looked after by Emblem and the owner drove it up from the Isle of Wight so no excuses from you lot for not coming next year let's see if we can be the biggest group there for 2013.

We had a wonderful day with you guys today. The warmth of the friendship more than made up for the cold of the grey day outside.
Thanks for a great time, and I'm sorry that we were not able to catch up with everyone.
I would particularly like to thank Paul and Carol for organising the lunch time party, and to say how nice it was to catch up with Pete (safrane) such a nice guy and I can't wait for you to join the owners once again.
I hope that we can make it along to another meet soon.
Keep the photos coming, they make a great reminder of another wonderful day in Bristol.
Best wishes to all
David

Hi Andy,

Carole is the photographer. Thank to P for posting the instructions about how to upload images on the forum. Have sent you a PM about the pigeon!

When we arrived at the Manor Hotel, Castle Combe there was a wedding in progress with guests milling around. An excited little boy observed the Maserati and Ferrari line up on the forecourt. His father asked if it would be possible for his son to sit in one of the cars. He chose the 550 and the black QP. Allowing this was a small act of kindness but a splendid gesture all the same...... Excellent!

Paul

Hi Simon,

Yes we got to San Carlos. Twenty two of us sat down for lunch. Sorry both you and Piper could't make it. Carole also sends her best wishes.

The noise from your motor was missed in Bristol this year Simon but a good effort made by the rest of us.

Hopefully next year will be a goer, although Piper's had the pleasure of being impregnated by me for the second time so who knows!!!
