Silverstone Classic July 22-24

Anyone going to this event, I have been for the past ten years its a great day out, I will be in the Maserati Club Paddock with my car and have a spare ticket for the Friday for £20 if anyone is interested pm me.

I have been a few times and can say its much better than Goodwood revival, mainly because you can actually see the track as its not so crowded. A fantastic weekend, hopefully I'll make it again this year.

I shall be there on all three days. I go every year. It's a great weekend.

I won't be in my 4200 though. I always take my Hawk Stratos to the Classic. I'm a member of the Stratos Enthusiasts' Club and we have a stand each year near Bridge.

The really good news for this year's event is that the Group C cars are returning after missing last year due to the Le Mans Classic clash. Those cars are craaaazzzzy!

Hi Matt,

Work on the Bora is back underway but I very much doubt it will be ready for Silverstone in July. I will probably be taking over the 308 and the Tiger.

(I must get round to posting up some pictures of the work to date!)

just got back from this and as always was a fantasic day out, even got some passes for the silverstone racing club, the new paddocks and grandstand look great, as usual I will post some pics tomorrow after I have a lie down and a bottle of wine.
