It's the day after the wet handling event and as per GT dan it is but a few minutes down the road so may well take it in!

Adam, I am not so sure that Lord Montagu is taking the urine he simply inherited a large pile in the New Forest, something of an accident of birth! Next time I see him or his son I will enquire as to whether they might consider relocating to the Midlands, but I fear such a nice faux castle located on the banks of the river and it's own lake and feudal rights over the village and coastline may be hard to achieve elsewhere! :)

As with Benny D Norman Tebbit might say ????

After all, us southerners would rather keep it this way, perhaps we could arrange for Hadrian's wall to be relocated at the Watford Gap?

Only joking befoire you all go ballistic! :)

Cheers

I've got nothing in my diary/calendar so I'll be there for my first meet with fellow owners, be warned I'll be armed with questions!

This is close to Meridien's workshops. Never thought of visiting there even though I'd seen the road sings.
After looking at the website it might be the place to spend a few hours if you taken your car to Meridien for a service.

Beaulieu is a great day out.
Also in the village is a classic car showroom that always has some lovely stuff in it and a few nice pubs and hotels. Very nice part of the world.

Well as long as the forecast of occasional cloud stays the same then I will be going and happy to meet up before going in. I guess Granturismo_Dan would have the best ideas of were would best.
We also need to decide what time we are arriving.
I will be driving down the A36 from Bristol.

So who was there in the end?

I didn't get there until 11ish as I had to wash all the lime scale off the car after the wet handling day.
I parked behind a black QP with a private plate and top the side of me was a 4200 with B1RDY on the plate. Near by was a very nice blue GS Spyder, may have had SPY on the plate.
